M1911A1 - Standalone Pistol

The M1911 is a single-action, semi-automatic, magazine-fed blowback pistol chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge. It was a standard issue in the U.S. Armed Forces from 1911 to 1986. It was originally used in the later stages of the Philippine-American War and was used extensively in World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. The M1911 was designed by John Browning and is his most famous design, using the short recoil principle in its basic design. The pistol was widely copied, and this operating system became the most distinguished type of the 20th century and nearly all modern centerfire pistols.

This specific model is based on the M1911A1 from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

If you just want to get the Weapon type in console using console command:

Help "1911" 4

Find records preceded by "WEAP" and enter:

ADDITEM xx000800

Change the two x's to the numbers shown by the WEAP record.

It can also be found in the list of relevant levels added in the script for maximum compatibility with other mods.
