*As shown in the picture, it is still an old gun, the masterpiece of Blue Tape - the M1 Garand rifle. By default, no pre-installation is required, but the patch I sent requires it (1.6.5 body comes with STS mirror modification, the body can be used directly without STS, but this also means that the STS mirror cannot operate normally, and forcibly installing the STS mirror will only cause screen errors)*

Finally done! I (original author asXas, the same below) give you all my thoughts on the classic M1 Garand!
This mod adds the M1 Garand and M1 Garand Bayonet as stand-alone weapons to the world of Fallout 4, it's that simple.
(Other modules are not required by default to run this module)
Tips for finding special editions:
Blue Betty:
As you walk along the road between the shelter and the Red Rocket Truck Stop, a note is placed on a telephone pole.
Read it, if you know your Fallout 4, it shouldn't be too difficult.
This machine: You'll find it in a pre-war facility (Federal Grain Depository), just sitting out in the wind and sun for a while, and you'll see it in the hands of a raider!
M1 Garand at about 17+
It will appear at the gunman or merchant when leveling up. The M1 Garand Bayonet appears in Gunners, Marauders, and Traders at level 13+.
(See reading book for details)
Note: You may need to wait/sleep 24+ hours before the "Loot List" can be refreshed.
There are also two "Legendary" versions in the game world, "This Machine" and "Blue Betty", each with custom equipment, I wish you happy finding them!
(Note: This mod adds the gun to the level list via script so it won't conflict with other mods.)
Ways to cheat.
If you're too lazy to get weapons normally, you can follow these steps.
Open the console and enter the following: player.additem XX000F99
(XX = mod's loading order #, if you are not sure what # is, you can enter "help "garand" 4 weap" in the console, then look for "WEAP: Garand" to get the full ID of the weapon.)
——Click on the weapon to enter the module page——

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
