LVTP-8A Marine Amphibious APC:
----
I've never been a big fan of the default APC's buggy look and ridiculous looking machine gun ports, so I decided to try to replace it with something else.
After a lot of searching I found the perfect model, the stunning LVTP8A made by Renafox3d and TwoWeeks2Live, so I went and created a simple ESP, placing them wherever the default APC used to be without having to change the pre-composition like many other mods do.
Not only that, but I also make a point of them being walkable so you can grab the loot that some of these APC interiors carry.
How does this mod work?
It changed the material of the original APC model to make it invisible, and then I placed the *new* APCs in the default model's positions, aligning them as much as possible with the original APCs.

Some things to note
After installation you may need to wait for the cells to reset for it to run properly, for some reason the game rotates a few placed cells and then rotates them back to where I placed them going into CK, I have no idea why it does this or if it can be prevented.
One of the APCs (an overgrown APC sitting on a barge) looks "on" but you can't access it because the base game APC is off, I did this purely for visual effect and there is no bug in this one.
Obviously it won't work with other APC replacement mods or things that change the BGSM file of the default APC.
Mods that add other APCs to the world will not work with this as my changes may make them invisible, so be aware if you have a location mod that does this.
The original LVTP module needs to be installed first.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
