About this mod Machine translation
Simply make the glowing animal variant glow and scale it to its size.
Chinese address:
The full DLC version has been uploaded!
This mod simply attaches a light source to each glowing animal morph, making them glow. The size of the animal determines the radius and intensity of the light, so a deathclaw is brighter than a ghoul, a mad ghoul is brighter than a cockroach, etc.
This also fixes the Glowing Behemoth and Glowing Mutant Hound, both of which didn't have actual glow maps. The Glowing Behemoth also has a radiant cloak like all other glowing variants.
compatibility:
This mod will conflict with anything that modifies Glowing Mutant Hounds and Glowing Behemoths. If you load this mod first and then another mod, you will lose the glow but retain the edits from the other mod. The same goes for glow anglers with the Far Harbor add-on.
If you're using Super Mutant Redux, the only conflict is the glowing Behemoth. I recommend you load the mod after this to minimize issues. No patching required.
Known issues:
For some reason mole still doesn't work.
The new glow map is still WIP.
If I could get him working, Oswald would be added.
Some versions now only affect Deathclaws and/or Rage Wights. You can use them together if you wish.
I highly recommend Darker Nights and Interiors Enhanced for the full effect.
Inspired by the Glowing Ghoul mod from FO3 and FNV, but now can be done without scripts thanks to an engine update. 100% safe to uninstall.
Thanks to cat_woman1989 for the help.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
