Lower Weapons - DLC Add-on

This mod is an expansion for lesma666's Lowered Weapons, which brings lowered weapon animations to Automatron, Far Harbor, and Nuka-World.

It's pretty simple; when your weapon is out - but not being aimed or fired - then your character will lower it.

After all, it's rude to point a rifle in a person's face while you're talking to them.

Supports all compatible weapons (i.e. non-melee weapons) from Automatron, Far Harbor and Nuka-World.

Why use this mod?

Lowering weapons does not require *.esp files to function. So, that's just one less *.esp in your load order, and if it doesn't get updated, you're worried about breaking your saves in the future. Files in this mod can be installed and uninstalled at will, never damaging your save files.

Additionally, this mod does not require you to carefully lower your weapon. If you want to manually lower your weapons throughout the game, then you should consider using a mod like Button Lowered Weapons - but if you like simplicity (like me), then this mod is for you.

Require:

There are no requirements for this mod. You can use it with the original Lowered Weapons to cover every weapon in the game (recommended), or by itself to cover DLC weapons. Not sure why you want to do this.

v1.2 - What's new?

Added: Full support for all non-melee weapons from Nuka-World.

Deletion: I deleted the optional files for each DLC. Just download the main file and it will work with whatever you install.

v1.1 - What's new?

Fixed: Landed guns now shake when walking

Fixed: Footstep noise plays normally when walking

Added: Power Armor is now supported

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
