Introduction
Viva Nuka-World (VNW) is the sequel to Nuka-World Reborn (NWR). But that's like saying a phoenix is a bird.
Not only does it add a whole new questline, new companions, and new locations—it also fundamentally changes the way you play NWR and the base DLC.
What does this mod have?
5 new companions
1).Nicole - the potential new leader of the Exile Academy.
2). Lazy Susan - a former trader who is tired of politics. She joined the Raiders but didn't want to do Raider things, giving her the name "Lazy Susan".
3). Erica - Banished from the Academy/Academy Exile, longing for adventure.
4). Francesca - the business leader with a dark secret. She becomes a companion only if you side with her in the Merchant questline.
5). Henry - one of the rebels who plans to overthrow Francesca. He becomes a companion only if you side with him in the Merchant questline.
They can only be romantic under certain conditions.
Nicole - Complete the loose ends and side with her in the Exiles questline.
Lazy Susan - Completed the Raider questline, killing Francesca but not blowing up the Merchant HQ.
Erica - Joined the Academy of Exiles (or the Academy if you removed the Exiles from the lore) and helped her complete two quests.
Francesca - She becomes a companion only if you side with her in the Merchant questline.
Henry - He becomes a companion only if you side with him in the Merchant quest line.
More RPG options
- Option to skip the base DLC and NWR and play as a merchant from the start.
- Ability to download Brad Burton's consciousness into the synthesizer, so you can get two bonuses during your search for a needle in a haystack.
- Clean up the park, this is done for you in the Merchant quest line. Keep them full of tourists and vendors.
A brand new settlement
A vault called Tairfield. It has a doctor, food vendors and a players room.
Legend configuration options
Not convinced that NukaWorld Brotherhood and/or Academy Exiles should exist?
You only have the one-time option to remove these factions from lore, and both NWR and VNW will adapt to their absence.
Adapt to your play style
The Design If you play in a linear fashion, you'll still get all the necessary story and expected consequences.
If you are curious and enjoy exploring every detail, it will also give you more rewards, including a new companion, more rewards, more knowledge and more experience.
Prerequisites
You will need:
1). Nuka World DLC
2). Nuka-World Reborn1.31 or higher.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
