what it can do
This mod was created as an alternative to fast travel and as an alternative to APC transport mode for those of me who like motorcycles. It is mainly used in survival mode, but can also be used on any other difficulty. The motorcycle comes standard with some built-in storage, but there are upgrades available such as portable campsites, cup holders, upgrades to reduce fuel consumption, and a bobblehead fender trim that allows you to fix malfunctions in real time every 2 hours.
You'll find the motorcycle in the robot handling yard in the small building. Before you can use it, you have to repair it (after you repair it, it will move outside). Once repaired, you can travel to any of the 38 locations discovered so far.
The Far Harbor expansion adds 13 locations.
nuka world expansion adds 12 locations
feature
An alternative way to travel quickly.
Upgrade your motorcycle (now 5: campgrounds, cup holders, oscillating fender embellishments, stiffened suspension, and upgrades to improve fuel efficiency). Find blueprints at the robot handling yard and create upgrades at the motorcycle workbench.
The bobblehead upgrade allows you to fix any faults with your motorcycle every 2 real time hours (configurable in settings holotape).
The Campground upgrade adds camping gear to your motorcycle, allowing you to set up camp on your motorcycle.
The cup holder upgrade is just a cup holder (comes with free beer).
Fuel efficiency improvements halve the amount of fuel used per trip.
38 locations for fast travel.
V1.5.0 adds an optional expansion to Far Harbor, along with 13 additional locations (12 Remote Harbors and Nakano Residence).
V1.6.0 adds an optional extension to the nuka world, adding 12
Location (nuka world 11 and nuka world transfer center).
A custom workbench in the Robot Processing Yard for crafting upgrades.
Customizable Options: On first load, the mod will add a settings holotape witch allowing you to set how locations are available, the amount of fuel used per trip, maintenance intervals and more. If you lose your holotape, you can craft a new one at the Motorcycle Workbench in the Robot Processing Yard.
By default, each run uses oil as fuel 2 (configurable in settings). Most items containing liquid oil can be emptied in a fuel tank. However, you will loosen other components. So it’s best to be prepared and bring oil.
Maintenance: Over time, your motorcycle will require some maintenance to keep it running (fixing flat tires and engine damage). Can be configured or disabled in settings.
Map markers so you don't forget where you parked.
A working motorcycle attracts attention, so you'll be attacked when you get somewhere. (Can be configured or disabled in settings.)
26 different colors available (9 clean and 9 dirty versions and 8 rusty versions by Ja1ine). Right now you have to choose a color on install, but I'll try changing them in-game when F4SE gets the features it needs.
When the motorcycle is parked in a city or settlement (configurable in settings), you can use your Idea Boy's radio to have the settler take the motorcycle to one of the locations.
New upgrade in V1.2.0: The enhanced suspension system allows you to wear power armor when using a motorcycle.
V1.3.0 adds activation sound. If they start to get boring, you can convert them in holotape.
V1.6.2 After repairing your motorcycle, you can now build a motorcycle workbench in any settlement. (under production)
V1.7.0 now has 4 different fuel types to choose from, using the holotape or motorycle workbench.
V1.7.4 adds autosave option to holotape settings while traveling (disabled by default) and can only be enabled in survival mode.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
