Lite-Touch Reshade Preset Environment
This is a small, lightweight Reshade preset. It requires Reshade 3
It's not heavy on shaders and doesn't overdo it in execution.
It makes the game look slightly different. Not a lot, but a little bit.
It's great for indoor, indoor and night use as it doesn't make things any darker.
performance:
If your PC meets the game's minimum requirements, performance should be fine. Look at the screenshot I put on this file.
They were taken to the office machine. It has 8GB RAM and geforce 1050 ti gpu and meets the minimum gaming specifications. Its processor is an AMD fx-4300, but it doesn't have one. At work I play 1920x1080, with most settings on medium or high, which is fine.
Depth of field is included but should be turned off by default. When saving the file, the DOF switch is set to the END key.
But that's probably not the case as I've experienced Reshade off key groups before, in which case you can
Set it up in the game yourself. This allows you to game without irritating blur, but if you're doing screen exclusion you can turn it on.
Install:
Download and install it to the game's main directory, which is where Fallout4.exe is located.
Download and install Reshade 3. Select LiteTouchRehade as the preset, whether for the first time setting up Reshade or later in the game Reshade GUI.
Rehade settings will ask you if you want to download all effect files. You can, or just select DepthHaze.fx, DOF.fx, FilmicPass.fx and FineSharp.fx and download them. Anyway, I've included the files used in this, but only getting the required files will speed up the Reshades startup time by a few seconds.
Puzzled? Don't know how to set up Reshade?

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
