This is a Mod made by me (original author Parabellum1901, the same below) a long time ago. The Fallout TV show makes me want to mod and play F4 again. Anyone with an idea might want to give it a try. All spawn points are placed manually. Suitable for players traveling with multiple companions or for greedy solo players.

Depending on the zone, there should be very little or no fps loss on mid-range gear, and little or no fps loss on low-end gear, unless you use crazy 2K/4K/8K texture mods for mobs and NPCs. Tested on two different PCs. RTX 3060 12GB VRAM w 32GB RAM & GTX 1060 6GB VRAM w 16GB RAM

Ambushing enemies is implemented correctly Examples: - Quagmire that hides and pops out of the ground when you get close. Other spawn mods I know of usually copy them and put the extra NPCs in plain sight. This mod correctly hides and connects them so that they trigger correctly when you get close. Also implemented are Ambush Radiated Scorpions, Mire Crabs, Sleeping/Ambush Feral Ghouls (most but not all), Sting Wings, Bloodworms, and Bloodworms.

I may have missed some. If I did this or you have any suggestions and requests please let me know in the comments section.

Optional but highly recommended: For those installing the mod during existing gameplay, download the game configuration menu and adjust Hours to respawn cells and Hours to respawn cleared cells to 7 hours. Go somewhere indoors. Save, exit the game and reload. After reloading, do not leave the battery indoors and rest for 8 hours. You can then readjust your default or preferred respawn settings in GCM. This is to reset all builds and experience the mod the way it should be :)

Thanks to Bethesda for giving us Fallout 4 and the creation toolkit, and for giving us a platform.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
