----

The Brotherhood has a new weapon in their arsenal, the Power Glove.

This is a request from u/Shakmaaaaaaaa.

You can buy it from the BoS weapons vendor, starting at level 20.

It has 3 attachments that you can craft at the Weapon Workbench:

  • Default: Crouched Liberty Prime fist.
  • Drill: A drill attachment that penetrates armor and unleashes damage.
  • Torch Head: A fire truck torch that deals energy damage and burns your enemies.
  • Liberty Prime Head: Prime Head deals energy damage, burns, paralyzes, and has a chance to overload, allowing your fists to knock enemies away! (Basically the idea of World Series baseball bat u/BloodyBoots357). This effect is a bit surprising.

I (original author coralfang, the same below) learned how to make an esl file and checked it for errors. Seems fully functional.

One thing I didn't manage to fix was the Null attachment for the Power Fist weapon. So on benchcraft it will show 2 default options. One is the punch and the other is not visible when you step away from the workbench.

Just use the one with the fist. If you bought it from a vendor and somehow it doesn't have the punch attachment, just go to the weapons bench and replace it there (it has no crafting cost).

I highly recommend downloading Liberty Prime retexturing. I used Bethesda textures and meshes to create this Power Fist. So, up close, the arm guards look really bad, with the stock textures.

Liberty Prime for CC for Fallout 4 - Mods and Community (I use this one, it's smaller and has 2k, 4k and 8k options)

SavrenX Better Robots and HD Liberty Prime for Fallout 4 - Mods and Community (this one does other robots too)

Special thanks to:

DankRafft I used his lvld injection script to inject Prime Fist into the BoS and Legenday lists with no conflicts.

Bethesda thanks me for editing the assets that made this mod, and Todd Howard for his legacy and teaching that sometimes things just turn out to be good!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
