Take the time to read this!
- First install asXas mod: Lee Enfield
Download the main file directly into your mods manager (Vortex, NMM, or other), or unzip the downloaded file into your game's Data folder.
- then install my translation
Repeat the previous step. If you use a mods manager other than Vortex, it will ask you if you want to overwrite the original mod files, accept.
If you didn't install it manually, it's the same operation, replacing the original mod's LeeEnfieldNo4MkI.esp with my translation.
If you go through Vortex, you need to determine the loading rules. You need to upload the translation after the original mod.
- Optional; install patch
You can install both patches if you wish.
- An item sorting for AWKCR and Valdacil, without it I don't think it puts confusion in your game, but some objects of the model will have names related to the VIS ranking system (eg Gun 10mm will become [10mm] Pistol 10mm).
- A new Calibers.
These patches only contain an esp, so you don't need the patch from the original mod page, just download the patch from my page.
For installation, proceed in the same manner as the previous steps. These are extra esps that do not replace the main file.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
