About this mod Machine translation
-describe
This mode changes the first-person animation of the Institute and standard laser weapons to make them appear smaller. This is the same laser weapon animation, but with a moved pelvic bone position. All tests used the default FOV (80).
Install
Copy the file to the data folder and activate InstitWeapPosit.esp in the launcher.
-Deinstallation
Deactivate InstitWeapPosit.esp in the launcher and delete it from your data folder, as well as InstitWeapPosit - Main.ba2
-Known issues
Since the vanilla idle animation cannot be converted to 32bit, I had to make a new animation. I'm not an animator, but I tried to add at least some breathing action. It's just an animation of all idle, so there's no fancy hand movements like in vanilla when you're standing.
Because I moved the whole body forward, some armor can now appear on the first person. Love this screenshot. Thanks to Dexananda for spotting this issue.

Added new idler made by Wardaddy in v1.1, kudos to him! It still only has one idle, but the animation is far better than mine.
-compatibility
Research weapons now use it's own animation set and use different keywords, any mod that changes the mechanism barrel or clip modifications will re-modify the patch.
Any retextures or mesh replacers used for research weapons should work fine as this mod only adds animations.
renew:
I tested the mod using Button Lowered Weapons and it worked fine, however "my" animation had some noticeable glitches when the player turned around. This is probably because the turn animations cannot be converted and I have them not being turned on (which is not possible without the mod). Or the animation is no longer as smooth as vanilla because of all the conversion process and stuff. It's up to you to use it or not.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
