So, the legend I made up for this weapon is as follows, after the Battle of Anchorage, the US military needed a reliable space gun for their next conflict after Sea of ​​Tranquility on the Moon. This top secret project was difficult to design and many designers fed their designs into the program. This particular design was supposed to use old battle rifles from previous wars and bring them up to speed.

Sadly, these plans never went into production, as the designers died from radioactive fallout on their way to government offices. Later groups such as the Gunners found these plans and began producing them from the scraps they found in the wastelands.

Rifles will appear in the game after level 15-20 from vendors and factions such as the Academy, Railroad Sluggers (good luck finding one of these), Brotherhood of Steel, and Gunners.

There is an option to have it replace the Laser Shaker, with the tiered list turned off in favor of the Laser Rifle replacement. So, with this optional feature, it will only spawn on Militia and Legend corpses.

There is no unique version yet, but I may make a plasma version in the future.
