About the author:
The purpose of this mod is to add more randomness by removing level restrictions on all items in the game.
It took me several hours every day and saved many new files to test to ensure its compatibility with other MODs. I can definitely say that this MOD is no problem.
Item refreshes are now fully level-unlocked, so nothing has level restrictions.
This includes:
- Containers (safes, ammunition boxes, camping bags)
- Merchants (they will bring more bullets at the beginning and can buy more powerful weapons early on)
- NPC equipment! Level 1 Raiders wear heavy armor and carry better weapons
This mod uses these adjustments to add more randomness, challenge, and richer experience rewards.
PS: If you want the MOD to take full effect immediately, please enter an indoor space (such as the rhizome basement of Asylum Villa, there is a door on the ground behind the main room of the protagonist's house) and sleep for 24 hours.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
