Introduction

This mod contains multiple clothing items that can be mixed and matched. In real life you don't always wear the same shirt, the same shorts or even underwear, so why would you do it in a game? With this mod you will be able to decide when to wear what. Change shirts, underwear, shoes, shorts, pants, skirts, etc... Why? Because now you can!!

Every piece of clothing can be transformed using BodySlide.

How to use the module:

An important note is that these costume items are not meant to be paired with the original costumes. They work well with individually equippable pieces such as leather armor and metal armor. Allow me to explain, it's fairly simple. Please read the following carefully so that you don’t get any wrong ideas or get confused.

Find and kill Raiders, or just search the containers for costumes. When you kill Raiders, you'll get what's called "Hmm Stat" armor. The "um property" is basically a ring with an armor property. They will be named "Hmm Stat: Insert Vanilla Armor Name Here" such as "Hmm Stat: Vault 111 Suit" etc. The "Hmm Stat" armor pieces work just like the original costume. If the original costume can be upgraded at the Armor Crafting Station, then the "Hmm Stat" equivalent will have the same options available to it. The "Hmm Stats" ring will allow you to wear the clothes you want without affecting your armor stats. This is intentional to keep the game balanced.

In short, find and equip a piece of "Hmm Stat" armor, then mix and match clothing items to your heart's content. You can wear fishnet bra or no-bust leather briefs with a pair of leather boots and blue jeans. Mix and match to create your own style!

This mod requires you to use Jane Bod.

Slot allocation:

NOTE: This mod offers a very high level of modularity. This means I have to methodically choose which slots to use for each piece. I'm following the list provided on the mod description page for the Armorsmith Extended mod as closely as possible. I can't follow it 100% because it's not really optimized for the level of modularity I provide. These are the slots I've used for Hmm What to Wear so far. Again, it's loosely based on the other list, but it's not the same because the other list didn't give me the slots I needed to make what I wanted to do possible.

Slot 33 - Shoes/Boots

Slot 34 - Left glove

Slot 35 - Right glove

Slot 37 - Shirt/Top

Slot 38 - Left Leggings

Slot 39 - Right Tights

Slot 40 - Pants/Shorts/Skirts

Slot 50 - Collar/Tie

Slot 61 - Panties/Thong

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
