I (original author BGD00, the same below) made this edit because I don't like the jetpack design at all. It's worse than RoboCop 3 (which was a lot of fun when it came out). So I edited the FX file and deleted 2 of the flames while placing the other 2 under the feet. I also removed all variations of the jetpack from the game so science perks etc. are not required to use this new version.
I've tested all power armor variants and everything works fine. I had to remove Jetpack from the game so that it shouldn't be in any part of the game (but I can't completely guarantee that). That's why I also included 4 empty files in the jetpack nif to fix this problem if it happens.
No skills are required now, just fly for fun.
The jetpack is in the left and right legs of all power armor variants, so if they get damaged I'm not sure if the jetpack will still work without repairing it (the legs)
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
