Overview
Another military rifle? Why yes, but this time there's a twist: This one is made from iron pipe, rust, and sheer willpower!
This weapon was created in response to a dozen other military rifles and AR mods. Unlike what others think, I (original author Spadey, the same below) consider this game as an early game replacement with low requirements and sub-par performance, but still has stable and destructive firepower.
content
The iron-barreled carbine is chambered in .223, but can be converted to use the more powerful 5.56.
It will start spawning at level 8, as will any iron pipe weapon.
The Iron Barrel Carbine has a large number of attachments, making it extremely customizable. There are 56 attachments in total:
Receivers - All 14 standard iron barrel gun receivers
Barrels - Standard, Assault, Cutting, Heavy, Recoil Compensating, Marksman
Stocks - Standard, Pistol, Light, Heavy, Martian, Recoil Compensated
Magazines - small, medium, box, drum (+ quick eject variant)
Sights - Carrying handle, notch, reflex, improved reflex, three scopes (standard, night vision, recon) in three zooms
Muzzle - bayonet, triangular bayonet, compensator, muzzle brake, silencer
Ammunition Types -.223 and 5.56

Unique Edition
There is a special version in the module - Security Violation
It has a modified barrel that allows the entire nail gun to be mounted on the receiver, and a battery instead of a traditional magazine. While it does less damage than a regular rifle, it has a high rate of fire, bleed damage, and an innate silencer.
This gun is located on the table next to the stronghold workshop at the Blackwater Works site.
The second unique version is - Grizzly Reminder
It uses .45-70 ammo and ignores 50% of armor
The gun is located in Rocky Narrows Park, on a carcass next to a "Don't Feed the Bears" sign
compatibility
This mod should not conflict with any other mods. However, it will be affected by the re-texturing of the original weapon, as it reuses the Pipe, Combat Shotgun, and Research Institute textures. I highly recommend gmoi6's new texture for the iron pipe gun.
There are no DLC requirements, but this mod requires ammo - Ammo Expansion Item for .223 caliber and unique ammo
The mod file is also marked as ESL so it doesn't take up a plugin slot.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
