About this mod Machine translation
Added more details to the ten current and former Raider camps in the Federation Wasteland.
Preface: Far Harbor Nuclear World DLC
You've just found a raider camp. It was obviously inhabited, had a fire pit and such. So why does it feel like they just walked away halfway through and gave up on the whole thing?
Include
There's more in the Commonwealth's ten unmarked raider camps.
No, really. That's it. Significant detail work went into the ten different campsites to make them feel less slapdash and more like places people would stay.
Pre-composed are retained for improved compatibility.
Marked as lightweight (ESL tagged esp) to have minimal impact on loading lists.
FAQ
How to start using this mod?
Just install it using MO2 or Vortex! No configuration or special steps are required.
Does this conflict with other mods?
This is where I (the original author of Glitchfinder, the same below) will list the mods people ask me about, along with their compatibility and resolution status. Please feel free to ask me about mods and their compatibility, I will check and add them to the list when I am able to do so. I can also make combined patches, merging the changes from one or more patches into optional files upon request.
Compatible modules:
- Hunkered Down - Commonwealth Overhaul: No special load order required.
- Hunkered Down PRP Patch: Loads the PRP patch after "People Live In".
If you encounter flickering or floating objects while using this mod, try moving them closer to the top of the load order. If this solves the problem, please let me know what mods you have (not in the list above) that may have edited these locations or surrounding areas. If you need more detailed help or support, the easiest way is to find me on the mod.kitchen discord server.
That's a lot of loot. Would you make one with less?
No, I won't. While I don't think it's worth discussing what immersion is, or how different people view different things as immersive, I will say that at the end of the day, I make mods that I want to play. I intentionally left this mod completely open-ended - anyone is free to reduce the amount of loot I add to the location, replace the loot with static and moveable static lookalikes, or do whatever they like with the mod. If you ask around on one of the big mod discord or mod request forums, you might find someone willing and able to do this.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
