Overview
====================================================================
General changes
- Changed rail level list to something more meaningful.
- Added additional weapons such as assault rifles and battle rifles to the rail weapon tier list.
- Replaced Gauss Rifle with Rail Rifle.
- I think it fits the theme better.
- Unlike the Militia, the Railways are a "tolerated" faction to the rest of the Commonwealth due to their goals. For this reason, I don't see how they would have the resources to outfit every single one of their agents with a Gauss Rifle. The railroad rifle, on the other hand, was Tinker Tom's invention.
- Glory is now a real synthesizer and will have a synthesizer component in her inventory when she dies. Plus, she's not the only 3rd generation synth on the rails right now. Some generated Railroad Agents have a chance to become synths.
- Added legendary variants for railway NPCs.
- Railroad Agent AI aggression behavior has been updated, they should no longer attack Bunker Hill residents or other neutral factions.
faction leader
- Glory now has better stats and will be on par with players
- She is set as a legend via RobCo and can enable or disable faction NPC perks by deleting the line in the ini.
- Added perks to faction NPCs that unlock better effects as you progress through the faction's questline, for example, completing the "Nuclear Option" will unlock staggered opportunities. Note that perks like Stagger and Disarm only affect NPC versus NPC, so if you're fighting a faction, you won't be staggered all over the place.
New NPCs
- Added new higher level NPCs such as Commander, Porter, Foreman and Scorekeeper.
new random encounters
- Added new attack encounters using the Random Encounter Framework ( ). This change is intended to give the faction more interaction with the rest of the Commonwealth.
- See the encounter where Railroad fights stronger than usual attackers? These are the L&L gang.
- Completing the mission "To the Mattress" will prevent an encounter with a powerful attacker from occurring.
- If you tell the Railroad about Arcadia, you will begin to see random encounters between the Railroad and Far Harbor's combat elements, such as Predators, in an effort to keep the area safe.

This mod is designed to be modular. You can use the changes to encounters and faction bosses which would be great if you have other factions overhauled.

Whenever possible, changes to the original recording were done through RobCo.
Weapons and Armor Faction Overhaul
- An example of this is Look at Me - Railway Edition.
- A patch is required so that new NPCs added by this mod will use new weapons and armor. Otherwise, they will use any vanilla.
Faction NPC stats overhaul
- Not edited by this mod. No patch required

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
