Preface: Far Harbor Nuclear World DLC

The standard version and the no-cooling-time version have been packaged and uploaded together. You can choose one of the two to install according to your needs.
There is an older version of this mod that was broken up into multiple ESPs as well as a separate mod to add DLC companion support, which seems like a lot of plugins for something so simple. Additionally, negative affinity messages are either triggered as usual or removed entirely, neither of which seems to be the right approach.
I feel like there should be a middle ground so you can tell when you've done something your peers don't like but send a message of greater understanding. I'd also like to have all companions packaged into a single plugin, and given that this is a trivial change, it's also marked as ESL to prevent it from taking up a spot in your load order. The mod was created from scratch in Creation Kit, with ESL markup done in FO4Edit.
Maybe it's not super realistic, but I prefer it to the alternatives!
If you're interested in other variants, or you have feedback, please let me know in the comments and I can see how to fix it.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
