Updated Chinese address on May 22:
Similar to the guard dialogue overhaul in Skyrim, this mod aims to increase the immersion of general dialogue. It modifies the conditions and frequency of a large number of common dialogues.
The biggest features:
Your reputation depends on your actions and your ability to manage your settlement. If you give your employees what they need, you'll earn their respect and trust; if you don't, they'll start to resent you and show it through their words. If you do something important or are helping a specific organization, people may praise and adore you, or fear and avoid you. Your character will now have a decisive impact on your experience with others in the game.
As the leader of the militia and administrator of the settlement, you should be respected, or at least treated as a friend, when the settlers are satisfied with their living conditions. It makes no sense for settlers to treat you as an outsider, even if they know you and are happy with their home.
In this mod, I (original author Anbeegod, the same below) removed non-immersive dialogue and added new dialogue depending on the condition of the settlement (mainly happiness), your relationship with certain characters, and the completion of certain tasks. Now settlers will be more grateful but less rude to you if you turn their settlement into a decent place; guards will be more respectful if you did something important.
Additionally, I fixed a few issues (or at least I consider them "issues") regarding triggering certain dialogues. Now, settlers don't harp on the Abernathy tragedy that will soon become old news, nor do they "want the militia back" when the militia has returned.
I changed more lines than I've mentioned, including generic lines for the BOS, institute scientists, settlers, guards, etc. Please feel free to seek them out and report any issues/bugs/problems you find regarding generic dialogue (settlers, guards, institute scientists, etc.). I'll be more than happy to fix or improve them.
This mod does not touch scripts or world data, so it is completely safe to use.
I plan to expand on the lines in the future and maybe even cut and edit some lines to add variety to the dialogue.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
