About this mod Machine translation
There is no longer support for this mod. Please use an immersive HUD (iHUD) HUD instead.
This mod attempts to hide the HUD as much as possible without interfering with your gameplay. It's not as elegant or powerful as the full Immersive HUD mod, but it doesn't require F4SE, so it's released now and is compatible with consoles.
What does it let you do?
- Hide the HUD and let you set the environment in which it reappears.
- Allows you to set up situations where only the compass (and operating points) will be displayed.
- Use in-game items to switch HUD.
- Switch compass with in-game items.
compatibility
Mods that change the HUD (e.g. DEF_UI) may remove dot crosshairs over this mods. This cannot be fixed in the LITE version of the mod. All other features will work, but iHUD will not remove the point crosshairs. So as long as you don't mind the point, both mods work well together :)
Known issues and limitations
- This version of the mod uses the same functionality that the game itself uses to show and hide the HUD, so you'll sometimes see the game turn on the HUD in certain situations where you don't want it to, and then the mod turns it off. This is unavoidable with the LITE version of the mod.
Install
- Click the Download with Manager button in the files section to download to NMM.
- Activate the mod from the mods tab.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
