IF-88 Tactical Shotgun REDUX
-------------------------------------------
I'm back. I've learned how to use 3dsMax, so I'm bringing back a gift.
No more Nifskope Lego.
No more recycled vanilla assets.
I'm telling you IF-88 because that's what it's always been; built-in meshes and textures with scratches, material swapping, scripted level list injection, and all the bells and whistles you get from a skibadaa weapons mod.
Install:
--------------------
- Make sure your game is set to play mods.
- Download the main file.
- Use the mod manager of your choice to install or extract the archived content to your
Fallout 4 "data" directory.
- Activate "Skibs-IF88Redux.esp", which can be anywhere in your load order.
4a) If you are using TheTalkieToaster's "Ammo: Switchable Ammo Type", please make sure to use the replacement esp provided in the download page. Install it on the main file and say "yes" when asked to overwrite it.
- Start the game.
Smoke some suckers.
Starting at level 10, weapons will spawn in raiders, gunners, loot boxes, and store inventories.
If you must have one immediately though you can spawn one via the console.
To do this, first open a console and type:
Help if-88 4 weapons
This will display the project code for if-88. Once you have the code, type:
player.additem xxxxxxxx 1
Where xxxxxxxx is the 8-digit project code.
compatibility:
-----------------------
Replacement esps compatible with the following mods are available in the Downloads section under "Optional":
Tons of Ammo: Switchable Ammo Types for TheTalkieToaster
New Calibers by BrowncoatGarrus
AWDCR by valdacil
Perspective combat scopes are completely standalone, but that's also true if you want to use them with frames.
No need to merge patches as all staging lists are now added via injector scripts, now it's just plug and play.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
