8.1 Minor update to adjust Army Multicam fatigue colors
Version 8 requires a complete uninstall of the previous version (USMC Military Fatigues) before upgrading.
Starting with version 8, only fatigue and helmets are included. Previous versions need to be uninstalled to remove old and obsolete textures to overlay the default outfits (no more Skeletons or Raiders wearing modern camouflage patterns). The main files for this release will include all previous styles (Classic and MARPAT) as well as the US Army Multicam mode.
Each fatigue now also has two variants:
1.) Blank fatigue without any logo or badge
2.) Fatigue with rank, "Dweller" name tape and appropriate branch name tape (USMC or US Army)
These items can be found in the duffel bag outside the Sanctuary, near the statue and to the left after crossing the bridge. (If you can't find your duffel bag, please refer to the photo.)
Version 8 also fixes old pattern inconsistencies, such as horizontal camo on the chest versus vertical patterns on the legs.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
