About this mod Machine translation
[introduce]
I found it a bit annoying to determine whether to pick up an object while looting because I didn't know the target object's weight, value, or details per weight value. This mod adds some UI widgets to the HUD to display detailed information. The object crosshair points to or selects the quick loot menu, which also provides some additional functionality that allows players to play holotape and read books directly from the quick loot menu without having to open the inventory while looting. For more details you can view the pictures.
[feature]
Displays details of objects that can be picked up, not only for object crosshair points, but also for objects selected in the quick loot menu.
For various objects, display their value, weight, each weight value, and the player's current carrying weight status;
Weapons, showing their enchantments, damage, ammunition, rate of fire, speed, range, accuracy;
For armor pieces, show its enchantments, damage resistance, and current charge status;
For foods and medicines, please indicate their description, magnitude and duration of various effects;
For Fusion Cores, displays its current charge status;
For junks, displays its scrap components and quantities, and displays an icon for junk components marked as searched. This feature does not require other sorting modules and does not require editing the form record of the item, so it should work with other add or edit junk.
This mod adds some icons to show if the target object is a quest item, if the target book is a skill book, and if the target book has been read by the player.
This mod also provides a feature that lets you press a hotkey to read books and play holotape directly from the quick loot menu without having to open the inventory while looting, and for other items, press the hotkey to just pick it up.
[compatibility]
This mod only contains a F4SE plugin and a separate swf file to take effect, it does not change any vanila files, no scripts, no esp, so it should be compatible with any mod.
[Require]
Fallout4 V1.10.40 (latest version).
Fallout 4 Script Extender (F4SE) V0.6.0 or above.
Mod configuration menu V0.1 or higher (optional)
[troubleshooting]
Do not modify the game settings to hide the crosshair or the item card will be invisible, this mod provides a conflict-free way to hide the crosshair in MCM.
If you use DEF_UI or another HUD model to modify the Quick Container widget, do not hide the upper and lower brackets of the Quick Container, otherwise the Quick Container's item cards will not be visible.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
