Armored General
by Hothtrooper44
The position of "militia general" has an official office insignia, the uniform of the general. The original uniform was a short dainty coat over armor plates. I prefer this concept, but it has one big drawback - scalability. Depending on your specific game, this armor is often an effective combat protection device. Later in the game, however, there was no way to improve the armor, and even as someone who proudly showed the entire Commonwealth that I was a militia general, I had to ditch the uniform for better protection in time.
This mode attempts to solve this problem. You can now make a more armored version of the uniform with higher stats.
You can even see part of General later in the game - it looks great!
feature:
Custom installed in modeling software for minimal clipping
Unique male and female meshes - both ground and first person models included
Completely independent - does not change the original General's Uniform
Four different colors, all can be made individually - (blue/grey/brown/pattern)
Craftable at the Chemistry Station under the "Utilities" section (requires Level 2 Armor Smith)
Can be modified in Armor Crafting Station
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
