I was annoyed from the beginning because they replaced the holotapes with some kind of Nintendo cartridge. This is a relocation that fixes the problem, plus visible spools like Fallout holotapes/holotapes have been around since Fallout 1! It's also marked by Wattz Electronics, the makers of the legendary holotapes/holodisks. enjoy your meal!
I've included various versions with different texture resolutions (512, 1024, 2048, 4096) - remember to only select and install one of these options!
P.S. It's a vanilla default, the game's holotapes are smaller than the standard one, when removed, I didn't change it, but may switch them all to a larger size in a later version. Also, this is my first mod for any Gamebryo based engine, so how to format nifs and all that jazz is new to me, so it might change the dimensions a bit.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
