This simple little mod adds a pig separator, a giant cutting machine originally used for meat processing, while modern fixtures like band saws and conveyors became popular, to the Commonwealth! This isn't your mom's cleaver, oh no, this bad boy is ʙɪɢ. At 25 damage going into base (the same as the Grognak Ax), which can certainly be improved with modifications and appropriate perks, the Hog Splitter's humble purpose also makes it an effective weapon.

As a melee weapon, there aren't many ways to mod it, but there are still a few to choose from, including:

10 grip materials (5 worn, 5 clean)

2 blade materials (rusty and clean)

2 blades (chopped and uncut)

5 Upgrades and modifications (increased damage)

Hog dispensers are level-listed in super mutants, vendors, and general loot via scripts, starting at level 10, and can also appear in legendary form. You can also pick up for free at Fens Street Sewers.

Install

=========

Install using Vortex, easiest and simplest way, but not what I personally use.

Download and install manually. This involves downloading the zip file and extracting the contents (HogSplitter.esp, -Main and -Textures.ba2) to the Data folder and enabling it via the in-game mods menu or the mod manager.

Disable mods via the mod manager or in-game menu. You can also delete these files from the Data folder if you want to get rid of it completely.

This ain't your momma's cleaver, oh no, this bad boy is ʙɪɢ. Coming in at a base 25 points of damage (same as Grognak's Axe), which can of course be improved by mods and appropriate perks, the hog splitter's humble purpose also makes it an effective weapon.
