Introduction
Basically, delivering higher quality music with less audio compression for broadcasts and background music throughout the game, DLC, and CC content.
This mod uses the PS4 audio as the source, no AI or other processing.

Specific content
"Fallout 4" is a game released in 2015. Therefore, to reduce installation size, Bethesda uses audio compression. Audio compression is quite strong. You can clearly hear compression artifacts.
The PS4 version has better sound quality because it uses Sony's proprietary audio format.
This mod is to port PS4 music to the PC platform. It takes up more storage space, but it's definitely worth it.
Above is a dynamic spectrogram that visually demonstrates these differences. As you can see, the original version is missing a lot of data (black blocky patches). And any sound above 12kHz will be completely cut off.
This is a different spectrogram. Here, blue represents the original audio, and green represents the audio of this mod. As you can see, more audio data is saved.
Simply put.
If you have all the DLC, download the main file and install it like any other mod.
If you don't have the DLC or only own some of the DLC, please download the corresponding files through the optional download.
Complex version.
The .esp file here only needs to load a .ba2 file. So if you want, you can add them directly to SResourceArchiveList2= in the .ini file. Then delete the .esps. This will cause the game to load the archive without the .esp file.
To do this, you need to add SResourceArchiveList2= at the end of the archive name in Fallout4.ini or Fallout4Custom.ini.
So, if I use the All in One version, my guild is
Like this: "SResourceArchiveList2=Fallout4 - Animations.ba2, HQMusicAIO - Main.ba2",
If it's not the All in One version, you can just add the names of those files. You are smart and will figure it out!
compatibility
This mod was formerly known as High Quality Music for PS4. The rebranding is to bring it in line with my other mods.
This mod works on all versions of the game - old gen, new gen, AE.
There should be no incompatibility issues with other mods. Just make sure to place the mod that covers the original music lower than this mod in the load order.
Music composed by Capital Wasteland Mercenaries is included in the All-in-One file. You don't need to own Creation for this mod to work properly.
Fallout 3 music, which was added to the Fallout 4 files in December 2019, is also included in the mod. As far as I know, it's only used by The Capital Wasteland team for their virtual workshop creation and point-of-view mods. .esp files are marked as lightweight. So your .esp limit will not be exceeded.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
