About this mod Machine translation

This mod adds a class for an armor called Visibility. For free, you can dynamically modify armor pieces to be invisible. You can change them back to visible at any time. You can imagine the armor hiding underneath your gear. You can hide all your armor, or just the armor you don't like. up to you. You can still run if you want, while still having full armor protection.

Affected armor pieces are limited to 5 pieces of armor (chest, legs and arms) from all armor classes (leather, predator, metal, combat, synthesizer) and DC Guard Armor. It works on all 3 tiers of every armor, and it works with Legendaries.

The armor will remain invisible regardless of who is wearing them, allowing you to outfit your settlers in heavy battle armor without ruining their costumes.

This mod also adds armor appearance downgrades. You can change the appearance of heavy armor to a medium or light version while keeping its stats the same. Think of it as partially hidden armor. The medium armor can also be changed to a light armor version.

compatibility

This mod is intended for use with Armorsmith Extended as a solution to the problem of complete equipping of armor pieces. However, the mod also works as a standalone mod.

This mod may conflict with other mods that modify armor pieces.

The mod has been split into ESM and ESP so other mods can easily make their mods compatible with this. If you are a modder, please check out ESP to learn how to add cosmetic features to your armor, and feel free to contact me if you need help.

question

Much to my dismay, I haven't found a way to make this work on a helmet. I can't seem to toggle the hair on and off dynamically, so I have to choose between hair visible with helmet going crazy or hidden hair and hidden armor leaving you bald. Or I could replace the helmet model with one of the many wigs available in the hidden armor section. I don't know what to do.

Armor pieces with standard modules attached will not stack with newly obtained armor pieces, otherwise the armor pieces will be the same.

If you are playing an existing game, the DC Guard Armor you already own or the DC Guard Arm that has been spawned on the Guard may not be hidden. To fix this, you can just use console commands to add a new copy of the project to your manifest and it will work fine. Type help "DC Guard Armor" 4 and it will bring up the armor pieces and list their ID numbers. Then execute player.additem <Item ID#> 1 to give yourself the correct item. You can remove old items that are not available for player.removeitem <item ID#> 1.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
