About this mod Machine translation
Added herbs from the Resident Evil series to Fallout 4 as medical items and crafting components.
The ESP version and ESL moderator files have been packaged and uploaded together. You can choose one of the two to install according to your needs.
Included in this mod are all the different herbs found in Resident Evil Remake, as well as their combined versions.
This includes:
- Green herbs
- red herbs
- blue herbs
- yellow herbs
I (original author GeminiVoid, the same below) also added first aid spray from my other mods.
All of these can be found in various tier lists, along with medical supplies. Once found, you are free to plant these plants in your settlement for settlers to work with.
To grow an herb, you will need a potted version of that specific herb to grow it.
You can also take these herbs to any Chemistry Station to create combinations from them that provide powerful bonuses for each different type of herb.
The yellow herb functions differently from other herbs that one may recall from the Resident Evil series. I like the idea of these giving you a permanent boost to your max HP, but that doesn't translate to Fallout the same way it does to Resident Evil. Consuming yellow herbs does not provide any substantial boost, but instead permanently increases your maximum health by one point each time a yellow herb is consumed to provide balance. It will be up to you to manage this welfare and prevent it from causing power creep. Yellow herbs are also somewhat scarcer than other herbs, but once you obtain them, they can be grown like any other herb. Yellow herbs cannot be consumed alone and must be mixed at the Chemistry Workbench.
The Chemistry Workbench now has a new category labeled "Herbs" where you will group them together.
All of my work is free, but I do take tips on Patreon. My page is completely free to join, tipping is optional. If you want, come and take a look!
I do not claim ownership of this or any other Resident Evil themed mods I create, those rights belong to their respective copyright holders. I'm just sharing this for free so that others might enjoy it. Thank you Capcom for giving us the Resident Evil series.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
