Did you know that if you leave Fort Hagen via the parking lot or the hatch on the roof after killing Kroger, you'll skip the Predwin flyby and reach the Federation? It creates all kinds of clever mission awkwardness, like the Federation having a collective hallucination about an airship that doesn't yet exist. This seems like a bit of a major oversight, especially since the only way to do the BoS after that is to go back to Fort Haggen, walk through the entire interior, take the elevator back, and then use the computer to unlock the roof access. Super weird and not suitable for me (original author Glitchfinder, the same below). So I made a mod to fix it.
