About this mod Machine translation
introduce
This mod contains patches from community members for Heather Casdin - a unique companion experience powered by llamaRCA
List of existing mods included:
Complete conversational interface
Extended conversational interface
Valdacil's item sorting
VIS-G item sorting
Bhaal's sorting is better
Armorsmith extension
(For some patches to work, you will also need to install and activate the Armor and Weapon keyword community resources)
About the patch:
When you only want to use the patches sorted by the Valdacil project, you still need to install and activate AWKCR.
This is to make sure you still have the icons for Heather's Outfit and Heather's Bag.
The same goes for Armorsmith Extended: AWKCR needs to be installed and activated for Armorsmith Extended to work.
In case you lose Heather's clothes and/or Heather's Bag: they work at the Chemistry Station.
If you choose the Armorsmith Extended patch, Heather's Outfit and Heather's Bag can be crafted on the Armorsmith Bench.
In both cases, you don't need any requirements to craft Heather's Outfit or Heather's Bag; you just need the ingredients in your inventory/workbench.
Install:
Although manual installation is not difficult; if you decide to install Heather Casdin Patches without using NMM, you are on your own.
Using NMM, the FOMOD installer will help guide you through the steps
Make sure to follow the instructions to install and activate the original module.
Override when prompted.
Once installed, make sure the patches are loaded after Armorsmith Extended/AWKCR/Valdacil's Sorting of Items/Bhaal's Better Sorting and llamaCompanionHeather.esp.
When you install one of these patches, make sure you have the original mod installed and activated!
uninstall:
Use NMM to uninstall the Heather Casdin patch.
The original llamaCompanionHeather.esp will be restored, and llamaCompanionHeatherXXXPatch.esp (XXX = the name of the patch) will be deleted.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
