What's this
This is The Harbor Bee!
My reinterpretation of KriticalGuy's fabulous Monorail To Spectacle Island module:
New scripts, new textures and new meshes for tripleplusgood immersionsmaxxing.
Pre-combination is not interrupted. With a minimum of (2) coverage, strictly for more sweet, sweet indulging maxxing.
Harbor Bee loosely fits into nexbil01's Commonwealth Reborn Continuum.
This mod is made with all permissions and no original mod is required.
This mod features authentic voice acting by the talented Veta Phoenix. No generative AI was used in the production process.
But what if you want the monorail to look more "wasteland hand-picked" rather than "it came from the Lexaco assembly plant in Lexington"? Easy, friends: Click here to download KriticalGuy's original mod! You're welcome!

Notes
Requires NukaWorld DLC. Make sure you have it.
If using with PRP, please load this mod *before*.
If you want navmesh, use the navmesh module from the original mod here.
Do not use LOD files from the original mod with The Harbor Bee, it is not required.
Weather sensing may not work if you use any weather mods. Edit DarkWeathers and StormyWeathers form lists to patch!
You will find the monorail behind The Castle, see pictures for reference.
Riding the monorail costs 10 Caps and earns Frequent Monorailer miles.
When stormy weather occurs in your game, the monorail will be out of service.
It will display NO SERVICE on the train, the orange hazard lights will illuminate and the green light on the call panel will change to red.
But: you can still get into the rail cars. Inside it is protected from radiation damage from radiation storms.
Have a safe trip, and if you like The Harbor Bee, please remember to give it a like. Thank you so much!
Known issues
The monorail cannot brake or accelerate smoothly. Unfortunately, I am unable to use the limitations of havok anim.
The fare box coin-in sound does not play properly when the car is on Spectacle Island. It might be fixed in the future, idk.
Due to engine limitations, it is impossible to have working seats in the moving car. There is currently no known workaround.
Thanks YUGE and thanks
KriticalGuy for the original mod.
Veta Phoenix voices Busy Betsy.
MDE2506 Hotchpotch mod for fixing monorail meshes.
Gloolax for clean PhoneBooth and TrashCan textures.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
