Preface

If you told me I (the original author) would be making a piece of armor for Fallout 4 in early June, I wouldn't have believed it. I was just taking a "break" from working on another mod of mine and wanted to try to get a simple wristband in the game. Since Outfit Studio made it so easy, I went a little off track and spent the last 2 1/2 weeks making a complete armor set. I've always liked the look of a certain armor set in the game Black Ops 3 and decided to make a similar armor set that I could use in Fallout 4. So I created my first piece of armor for Fallout 4 and couldn't be happier with the results. I do want to give a shout out to the creators of bodyslide/outfit studio Ousnius. If it weren't for their awesome tools, I wouldn't be able to get my models into the game so easily and quickly and be able to get them out to everyone within a few weeks of me first starting the armor.

introduce

The Geist set is heavily inspired by the dlc supply airdrop armor set in the game Black Ops 3. I really liked the color and design and thought it would be a cool piece of armor to try and make for Fallout 4 and my character. The suit has several layers of clothing and even has a refill pack on the back. While the booster pack doesn't give you any advantages visually, you gain +1 agility when wearing the suit, so you have increased action points as a bonus. The set also contains some resistance to energy and electrical damage. The armor also contains several options to upgrade it to make it better.

Armor uses CBBE Curvy body as default. If you want a different shape, the bodyslide slider is included in the download of the mod for you to customize. This armor mod only fits female bodies (obviously). All textures are mostly 2k, with some 1k ones.

To get this armor you can get it in 3 ways:

Search for it using the console command: "help Geist 4"

Using this nifty mod called esp explorer menu you can search for esp and add armor directly to your inventory (my mod doesn't require this, but it's useful when you just want items)

Craft armor set from chemistry lab

As a bonus, the armor set comes with multiple color palettes to choose from. In Armor Workbench you will see a color option where you can select the option you want. I do want to point out that the Purple Mystical color set will require double the resources. This is the rarest of all choices (because I want it to be).

FAQ

Q: Can I make a video/review about your mod?

A: Yes! I would never have a problem with anyone wanting to review my mods.

Q: Can I take content from your armor and change/reupload it?

A: If you want to change and re-upload something on , which requires one of the original files from this mod, please talk to me first. I really don't want to have 52 different variations of my armor everywhere. If you want to make patches and/or translations to make them work for other mods, it's always possible to create these.

Q: Help! Some of the textures on the armor, such as the bullets and skull emblems, seem dull. What's wrong?

A: This is a very simple fix and it's actually not a bug with my armor, but with Fallout 4 itself. For some reason Fallout 4 has a bug where the cubemap won't load. So you may have to start the game again (I had to restart it 3 times) to get the cubemap to work properly.

Q: I don't really like the design/model/texture of your armor can you change these?

A: I'm sorry to disappoint you with some aspect of the quality, but I make everything from scratch. I do not and cannot use copyrighted material, so everything on this armor is strictly made by me. I'm personally happy with the look of the armor set. If you have a better design or armor you want to craft, the tools and resources are there and if you look for them you can create what you want.

Q: Armor is not visible or has pink texture, how can I fix this?

A: Please be sure to follo …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
