About this mod Machine translation
This will add a standalone gun called the "Crude Blowback", based on unused Fallout 4 concept art.
It has a rustic homemade feel. Don’t forget to equip the dual mount for double the fun!
Update 2.3:
Fix: 308 Suppress sound.
Damage changes should now work as expected.
Strategies should not spawn naked bodies with head wraps (you may need to wait/sleep 48 hours for the level list to update)
Update 2.2:
New reload animation.
New sounds. (Credit: Partisan Executioner)
Update 1.8:
Removed: AE requirement in visible weapon patch.
Update 1.7:
Added: visible weapon support
Fix: Merge wet texture fix to main file
New: Optional download with default sounds. (If you hate custom sounds, use this feature)
Added: 1,5x and 2x damage options in installer.
Update 1.6:
Fix: Legendary versions of weapons no longer spawn when loading a save.
Changes: slightly changed audio
Credit: a_blind_man for changing the audio and showing how to fix the legend error.
It was easy actually, the gun was placed on a dock at Chestnut Hillock Reservoir, atop an old crab pot.
It can also be found on enemies. You may need to wait/sleep 24 hours for the Loot List to refresh.
(Note: This mod adds guns to the level list via script, so it won't conflict with other mods.)
Way to cheat.
If you don't want to walk/fast travel to Chestnut Hillock, you can use cheats to get weapons. Open the console and enter the following: player.additem XX001748 1
(XX = the # of the mod in the load order, if you're not sure what the # is, you can always type "help crude 0" into the console and get the full ID of the weapon.)
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
