Originally made by Deadpool2099 (as well as other teams like FNV Team and other modders), the famous grease gun SMG from FO2 and FNV is better than ever!

This is just a fix for the Grease gun so that it can be compatible with the 10mm pistol animation in third person power armor, for those who want to use VATS in power armor in either first or third person, I want to thank Diacute for the fix.

Historical description

The M3 Grease Gun was developed by the U.S. Army late in World War II as a replacement for the Thompson SMG. Additionally, it is also known as a 9mm SMG from popular Fallout games such as FO2 and FNV.

describe:

The Grease Gun SMG was originally developed and manufactured by Deadpool2099, who make great weapons from the popular Fallout games to Fallout 4. I (Winterworld19, the original author, the same below) did notice this SMG and had the opportunity to make custom third person animations by porting the first person custom animations made by the excellent animator Hitman47101. However, there's more to it than that, as I did notice a few issues, such as the reflex sights being misaligned, etc. Because of this, I decided to make some repairs by realigning, separating the sights from the receiver, and other repairs and adjustments. Not only that, but another mod author Diacute also made more fixes to this SMG for better improvements. This resulted in a remastered version of the original version produced by Deadpool2099.

This redux version does bring improvements, including better LL injection, bug fixes, plugins (such as adding third person animations, some optics and muzzles), and tweaks for this SMG.

Install

It's a simple install, just download this patch to your mod manager (mod organizer 2, etc.) and install it. With this, you should be ready to go. If using a TR patch for this SMG, it is recommended to place it after the weapon mod in the load order of the mod manager

Notice:

This weapon mod primarily supports Fallout 4 version 1.10.163, although it may support next-gen versions of Fallout 4 (I haven't tested against the latest Fallout 4 next-gen version yet). As this weapon mod will come with the optional option to download BA2 or loose files. Additionally, this BA2 is an old save that may support the next generation of Fallout 4.

Additionally, it is recommended to install a backport of Archive2, which does add support for the new NG archive2 format, from NG to older versions of FO4, as well as fixes:

Current known issues:

As of now, it doesn't have animations for third-person power armor. Additionally, the transition from equipping the weapon to lowering the weapon in the first animation is not a smooth animated transition.
