About this mod Machine translation
Grasslands 2.0 Pre-Release 1 is now available! New grass and flowers, better meshes and possibly 1fps increase (no kidding, I checked) may be problematic, but tell me what you think! Fresh flowers by foreprrasir and new grass texture by frogprincessQ4
This mod was made with FO4Edit, Photoshop, Nifscope and Material Editor
Not just retexturing
"Grassland" is an overhaul that provides the game with new grass, including flowers. These flowers provide beautiful meadows (in my opinion) in certain areas of the game, such as the forest, and they are now more alive. It's not just the forests that have been modified, the cities now have more life, grass grows among the garbage and debris, and the swamps have been modified to actually provide better performance than the original game! The beach and other areas have also been changed to look better.
There may be a performance hit, but from my testing it doesn't make much of a difference. A performance version is available that reduces density and removes underwater grass for improved fps.
There are two versions of the mod. "Healthy" will look like most screenshots and videos and has flowers and grass, "unhealthy" is a version that looks more like a dead version without any flowers, but may also have better performance.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
