New, highly detailed prefabs designed for your settlements - including player homes!

Original address:

Updated on September 6th:

Version 1.0.4

Fixed: Navigation mesh issues with Tiny Toolshed and farm extensions

Resolved: Slightly moved the upper door frame of the commercial building to prevent the door from jamming the window

Update: Changed the orientation of the concrete foundation snap points to make the system more uniform: the arrow at the top of the foundation now always points in the direction you enter the building through the main entrance entrance (example: if you rotate the building and look through the door frame, the arrow at the top of the foundation must point away from you)

New addition: apartment building, two floors, for four settlers

New: Business Building, a two-story building designed primarily for a new scavenging station. Gotta get those bottle caps flowing

New addition: Concrete brick foundation (half section) as extension. Cannot be adsorbed to buildings, only concrete foundations

NEW: New bathroom prefabs that can be merged into structures made from original game assets and Fancy Prefabs barn parts

Updated on September 3rd:

Version 1.0.3

NEW: Two window reinforcements can be added to the exterior windows of settlement buildings to prevent someone or something from getting in and stealing your cookies. But it’s more for immersion than gameplay.

New: Standard floor, less complex foundation, and four edge snap points added for mounting oil lamp posts

Added: Seven new settler buildings, each designed to accommodate two settlers

Change: New icon added to player homepage submenu

Added a new submenu called "Urban Buildings" for prefabs that look more urban than rural

Change: Renamed "Settler Homes" to "Farm Buildings" to reflect that this submenu contains prefabs designed primarily around building farms and small villages

Changed: Moved all factory prefabs to "Cities" submenu

Bug fix: Added a missing "wall light" attachment point at the entrance (left side) of the player's house in the factory

Bug fixes: (re)added navmesh for various settlement objects (most were there before, no idea where CK put them :<), and fixed some existing navmesh to improve NPC navigation

New: New scavenger stations and scrap sheds/microfactories have been fitted with new snap points. Scrap sheds and microfactories can now have up to two scavenger stations installed

NEW: New toilets in urban style settlements

NEW: Urban Kitchen, a clever combination of bathhouse and field kitchen suitable for your urban settlement

Fix: Added some missing corrugated metal to small houses (long) and existing buildings with at least one side of armor that can be placed outside settlements as a protective barrier against incoming threats (like the massive walls of a castle)

New: New defense structures. The turret platform can elevate the defensive turret, providing protection from ground attacks and placing it in a more tactically advantageous position. Armored walls (including gun ports!) provide cover for the enemy, while you and your settlers can still shoot at the attackers without being too exposed.

Updated on August 16th:

Version 1.0.2

New: Two "factory" style generic buildings

New: A small farmhouse (can house up to 3 settlers). Can be used with concrete block foundations (arrow points away from door)

NEW: Two new player homes (one medium-sized and one extra-large!). Arrow on concrete brick base pointing to the entrance (four-panel version) or to the right when facing the door frame and looking inward (large factory)

NEW: A greenhouse to slightly protect your crops

Added: new scavenging station, general appliance repair shop. Provide common sundries such as cookware, coffee pot, toaster, hot plates, scissors...

Added: New scavenger station, tractor. Adds 6 points of food to your settlement, providing 6 crops per day, but unfortunately the farmer drinks too much of that old moonshine, so you never know what you're going to end up with (ie …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
