The Diamond City security guards in the original game had a wonderful design that aesthetically suited the position they were guarding. Unfortunately, most of this gear isn't visible or accessible because it's not added to the level list at all. First, all DC safety gear variants have been added to the level list and will be randomly generated. In addition to recovering forgotten pieces of armor, this mod will also give DC Security the opportunity to spawn two types of metal armor, a metal helmet and a gray knit cap. The weapons pool has also been overhauled and security forces now use real guns. Tubular weapons were not ideal for protecting the Commonwealth's largest settlement, so shotguns, double-barreled shotguns, and .44 revolvers were used instead. This changes the range of weapons carried by security guards, allowing for more variety and making them more ominous enemies when you choose to attack. Since many new armor options open up the visor for DC Security, 4 new visor variants have been added that come from Covenant Security's visor. In the original game, DC Security could only spawn 2 faces, however, since they were permanently overwritten, this was overlooked.
This is specifically designed as a drop-in replacement, so editing the tier list is straightforward. It will conflict with any module injected by Edit Diamond City List LL, but modules that simply use Diamond City Security LL are compatible (such as various weapon modules)
Drag and drop the mod's contents into your game's "Data" folder and activate using your favorite mod manager. Alternatively, install directly via Mod Organizer 2.
