About this mod Machine translation
This gun comes from Crysis, originally a New Vegas mod, and was transferred to Fallout 4 by me at the suggestion.
Details:
- The damage of this gun is slightly lower than that of the original Gaussian, but it can deliver full damage without charging, has a higher rate of fire, and has a better feel;
- It has its own incitement effect, and the impact point has an explosion damage of 5 (one-third of the explosion prefix, and the range is small);
- The scope is 8x, has a marking effect, and can be modified to 4x or 16x on the workbench;
- The reloading action has been tested and found to be no problem at all;
- In order to distinguish it from the original Gaussian, the gun sound was changed to
- The textures of this mod are limited by the size of the original mod textures, which are 1K textures. If you don’t like them, don’t download them. And due to time constraints, Material’s texture pointing method is not used;
- Obtained from the alien crash cave, directly Player.additem will get a damaged version;
- Ammunition needs to be made with 2mm electromagnetic bullets at the chemical workbench (recipes will be available only when you have to hold the gun, but not if you give it to others or store it), which requires level 4 firearms and science.
- The import and debugging of this mod took about 6 hours. Although every step was taken carefully, there may still be bugs. I hope you will point them out after you find them, and I will definitely modify them when you have time;
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
