About this mod Machine translation
Think stripping parts is as boring as me? This is a machine that automates the process.
Removing parts is tedious
After installing this mod you will find a new machine in a special tab of your building menu
The function is the same as SKK automatic OMOD stripper
In order for a mod to discard "loose" object mods, you must first run a custom xEdit script on the load order.
This requires you to install xEdit (FO4Edit):
To use the patch script, first you need to install it:
Download the GearGrinderMiscComponents.pas xEdit script optional file
Alternatively, you can find the same script under the "Edit Scripts" folder in the main mod archive
Find your "xEdit\Edit Scripts" directory
Extract the xEdit script into this folder along with all other xEdit scripts
Then run the script:
Start xEdit.
Under the module selection box, load the entire load sequence - or in other words, just click OK.
Once xEdit has finished loading, right-click anywhere in the left pane and select "Apply Script..."
Find GearGrinderMiscComponents in the list and select it.
Click OK to run the script - for me this took about 15 seconds to complete.
Close xEdit.
When prompted with the Save Changed File dialog box, simply press OK.
This should save your newly created "GearGrinder2_AutoPatch.esp" plugin.
Make sure you remember to check "GearGrinder2_AutoPatch.esp" in the load order
complete!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
