garbage compactor
Turn useless crap into useless bricks!

Have a crappy pile of scraps? It’s so bad that even Marlena won’t buy it? Can't they be scrapped too? Don’t want to just dump it? Then this mod is for you!
Usage
Build the Trash Compactor from Resources > Miscellaneous, load it with items. Press the button. Receive a compacted brick of trash. Or maybe not. Create one project for every 10 projects.
The weight of the item, cost, ingredients, etc., it doesn’t matter. Compacted Trash weighs nothing and can be sold for 5 caps each.
Don't want them falling on the floor next to the compactor? Build a garbage collection bin from under "Furniture->Containers" and snap it to the garbage compactor.
Don't want these things at all? Connect a terminal to Compactor and use it to disable this feature.
warn
Be careful what you put in your garbage compactor. This machine can and will irrevocably destroy any item, no questions asked. Don't put back something you might want!
The packaged BA2 version and the component version have been uploaded together, and you can choose to install them according to your needs.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
