Known issues
If you download this mod and do a same-sex wedding, there is an unvoiced file that says "I now pronounce you married" because "man and wife" is the only voiced line.
When you talk to Clements at the beginning of the ritual, you must face your companion to continue the conversation/scene. I had to do this because otherwise the players kept looking at the priest instead of looking at the person they were marrying! So, if you're wondering why the dialogue isn't working, it's more likely than not.
You can't marry someone who can't be a romantic partner, like Strong, Nick, etc. I know, I know! Trust me, as a Deacon fangirl, I feel your pain.
You cannot marry companions from other mods. But if a mod author wants to make a patch for this, you definitely have permission! All patches require a few lines of dialogue from the custom companion to be spoken during the ceremony. I can't do it myself because it would take a million years to cover every companion mod!
how does this work
To get married, make sure your romantic partner follows you. Then just check out the fancy new terminal inside the church and sign up for the wedding. Then you can get married! You and your companion will share a few words, the priest will pronounce you married, and that's it! It's short, sweet, and to the point. You'll get a budding new brand to take the next step in your relationship, a marriage certificate to celebrate your union, and a trousseau of Diamond City resident hats!
You can also get married multiple times if you want, or if you get cold feet and cancel your wedding. Your partner may yell at you for canceling, but it is what it is.
Require
Nuka World must marry Gage. Otherwise, use the vanilla version.
compatibility
It may not be compatible with multiple follower modes (except Dogmeat) unless you want to marry them all at once! They might also talk to each other, which is really weird. But whatever floats your boat, I guess.
Many users have confirmed that the multiple follower module definitely does not work with this mod.
Install
Use NMM or unzip the tarball into the Fallout4/Data folder.
uninstall
Use NMM or delete the file from the Fallout4/Data folder.
