FO4 RAIN

About this mod Machine translation
This reconstitutes the rain effect, as the vanilla is just a blur instead of rain. It also re-describes the ripples as rain hits the water, making them look more like the rain is actually hitting the water and causing more disturbance.
Totally recommended to use with 'Loud Rain Sound' for a more immersive effect.
Version history:
1.0: Initial version
2.0: Made the rain look heavier and added a bit of color to the water droplets (let me know if the color pops out too much using SweetFX or Reshade). Improved normal maps. Improved ripples to give them more natural movement.
3.0: Makes rain thinner and more transparent. Fixed the corrupted gradient texture of ripples, now works as I hoped.
4.0: Rain reworked from scratch, now with completely new textures. I made the ink smaller and it looks more proportional now. I've pretty much eliminated those horrible cuts in the vanilla effect and pretty much all the rain transformations so far, in fact I can't notice them at all when the effect is running. This is as close to realistic rainfall as I can get with the way the game engine runs the effects. Edit material files to change effect colors and world light. I don't think there will be another version, but you can never tell. ;)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
