The Destiny patch incorporates >220 bug fixes and gameplay enhancement mods, and resolves bugs not yet fixed by the unofficial patch (UFO4P). The main focus of this mod is to fix bugs, make meaningful changes, and introduce subtle improvements for more satisfying gameplay.

Pre-requisite: Full DLC

Unofficial patch:

Version 1.7 updated on August 30th:

NOTE: Some implemented changes have not yet been added to the list of fixes and tweaks changes. It is expected that these lists will be fully updated and populated over the next two update cycles, after I decide which changes to keep, expand, delete, or further revise.

NOTE: From now on, FATE Core - Fixes.esl and FATE Core - Tweaks.esp (without ESL flag/extension) will be the only

Valid plugin configuration. This is done to prevent ESL flags/extensions from breaking edits to NPC dialogue, and also means that all changes/fixes to dialogue must now remain in the FATE tweak.

  • [F] Removed FATE core - Fixed ESP option in FOMOD installer.
  • [F] Removed two minor edits to improve compatibility with the Neon Flats CC mod.
  • [F] Some additional cleanup to remove changes beyond the scope of the fix.
  • [F] Additional fixes and adjustments to the bouncing stunt to ensure its effects trigger correctly.
  • [F] Fixed non-ground traps being affected by Stealth Level 2 perk, it was a bug on my part.
  • [F] Fixed Heavy Gunner level 4 description, stagger chance should be 1% instead of 10%.
  • [F] Fixed Lucky Finder level 4 not being able to put caps directly into the player's inventory due to missing scripts.
  • [F] Fixed weaponized Nuka ammo with health, a holdover from another merged mod.
  • [F] Caltrops lifespan increased from 5 minutes to 10 minutes. This timeout was originally introduced to reduce the impact of Caltrops on your save file, and to prevent them from remaining in locations that would annoy friendly NPCs. Due to the way Caltrops are coded, each caltrop thrown will spawn 5 caltrop projectiles that are still targetable in VATS, which may confuse your VATS target selection. Sadly, there is no clean way to solve this problem.
  • [F] Implemented Automaton Caravan fix, Gray Gardens CTD fix and weapon collision box fix from Glitchfinder. Updated the changes list paragraph to mention the changes introduced compared to previous updates.
  • [T] Removed FATE core - Adjust ESL options from FOMOD installer. Tweaking now requires fixing ESL.
  • [T] Hopefully fix all instances of muted/lost NPC dialogue due to assigned ESL plugin flags.
  • [T] Nerve drop food gain for all cooking stations per station/workstation from 1.0 to 0.5.
  • [T] Restored an instance of PA frame behavior to its original value to prevent players from obtaining X-01 shards too easily, although the main Fallout 4 log considers it to be the power armor frame used to spawn X-01 shards. It's possible that the framework's behavior is unintentional, or it's Bethesda's fault in the first place.
  • [T] Deathclaw can paralyze and stagger again, as a fix has been implemented to make the paralysis effect less buggy/overly powerful. Slightly tightened up their previously increased damage resistance.
  • [T] Removed all changes that automatically unlocked player customization (hair and eye types) and settlement buildable objects from the start. These options will be added back as MCM options at a later date.
  • [T] Removed collision changes for corpses, they should no longer be violently pushed or kicked around.
  • [T] Removed some Raider battle line changes. Let me know if they still like spamming the voice line.
  • [T] Removed most of the Chef ING recipe changes as these will fit better with my other upcoming mods.
  • [T] Removed change to supplier barter price range as this change was outside the scope of the adjustment.
  • [T] Removed all changes to recruitment radio beacons to prevent any possible mission/force issues.
  • [T] Removed most changes related to Survival Mode and all changes to water pumps to maintain compatibility with mods that change …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
