Adding fixers from Fallout 76
Original address:
Version 3.1 updated on April 18, 2026:
Reduced the cost of purchasing from Tinker Tom and fixed the effect of suppressors not reducing NPC detection
The packaged version is uploaded together with the Depowered patch (which removes buffs except movement speed acceleration and stealth enhancement), and you can choose to install it according to your needs.
Since it is a modified battle rifle, I personally recommend using Wardaddy’s battle rifle animation replacement for better results:

If any of you have played Fallout 76 or watched any content for any length of time, you must have heard of The Fixer. It is a popular weapon that is coveted by many players. I copied its inherent effects (faster crouching movement and increased stealth, similar to Shadow Armor), as well as the anti-armor from Fallout 76 and half the quickness and VATS buffs. If you're a Fallout 76 player, you'll know this is AA2525. This does make it a powerful weapon, especially if you're a stealth-based character.
This is a rework of my (original author CrimsonKnight77, the same below) original Fixer mod, which is almost identical to the previous version. The only changes are as follows:
I changed the legend description to make it more helpful.
I removed the lucky INNR from the legendary effect; in practice it doesn't make much of a difference, but I guess I might as well.
You must now purchase weapons from Railroad Craftsman Tom.
Oh yes, unique skins for weapons.
The new Dark Matter skin is available for the Battle Rifle, Combat Shotgun, and the Restorer itself.
Big thanks to ThonOfAndoria for making the really cool Fixer skin!
Any skin available for a battle rifle (such as the Creation Club skin) can be applied to the retainer. You can also make it look like a regular battle rifle if you want. However, the Fixer's paint scheme cannot be applied to other battle rifles. This skin is only available for a specific keyword, and that keyword is tied to the Restorer's base weapon.
There is a debugging mission, just in case Tinker Tom dies or worse, and you still want the weapon. To spawn a weapon in your inventory, use the help command to find "CK-TheFixerDebugQuest" and note its FormID. Next, type the command "setstage (FormID of the quest) 10". This will place the weapon directly into your inventory. You can do it over and over again if you want, but that's cheating, can you live with that? It's up to you.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
