Function
Armor wear mold repair
Many armor pieces in Fallout 4 were never properly adjusted for first-person perspective. As a result, pauldrons, pauldrons, and other armor components may stretch, get caught in the camera, or obscure the player's view.
This mod fixes many first-person mode penetration issues, including combat armor pauldrons and other problematic armor components.
Weapon repositioning is completely optional.
If you only want armor penetration repair, you can directly remove the included Gun Mover configuration file from the F4SE directory and skip installing the Gun Mover itself.
Armor penetration repair will continue to work normally without any weapon retargeting functionality.

Improved weapon positioning:
The original weapon configuration design is based on the game's default field of view, which often looks awkward at higher field of view values.
The mod includes custom gun movement configurations that reposition weapons to create a more natural and comfortable first-person perspective.
Advantages include:
- Better screen view
- Reduced weapon blocking
- More natural aiming position
- Improved experience in higher field of view settings

Support mod weapons
All vanilla weapons have been individually repositioned and tweaked to enhance the first-person experience.
The mod also supports all Creation Club weapons added as next-gen updates, ensuring consistent builds across the expanded vanilla arsenal.
In addition, many of the popular weapon mods produced by DegenerateDak have been repurposed so that they fit seamlessly into the ensemble. You can find the full list in the comments section.
All weapon positioning data is contained in a configuration file. Supported weapon mods are not required to be installed. If there is no supported mod, the game will ignore the corresponding entry and will not cause errors or conflicts.
Built-in configuration
Still fully editable. Users can easily customize weapon positioning by modifying the Gun Mover configuration file.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
