Film Workshop is an advanced ENB designed for manual color matching and is capable of producing stunning results. Here, the entire modern cinematic pipeline is parodied. From camera exposure and contrast settings, to negative and print film stages, each stage has its own film grain simulation. To achieve your own look, just like in the real world, Film Workshop's optional color grading feature renders between the film stock negative and film print stages with the same color response as a professional color grading studio. With over 200 possible film negative and print combinations, you can easily create your own custom look.
Film Workshop uses a unique post-processing suite. Here, HDR linear colors from the game are converted to Cineon LOG color space. This means that the game's visuals appear as if they were shot through a digital film camera. From there, the LOG image reaches the camera profile section, where you can adjust exposure, gamma, contrast, and saturation. Once the camera profile is set up, the image will go through the film stock negative stage, then into the advanced color grading tools, and then into the film print stage. Finally, you can set the aspect ratio for your image
Film Workshop is its first ENB. When creating a CFL, the focus is on creating ready-made looks for the user to choose from. Movie Studio is the spiritual successor to CFL, but with more advanced users in mind. You can almost think of it as CFL Pro. Everything is set up specifically for manual adjustment. ENB is a canvas for creating your own visual path.
