About this mod Machine translation
Fits vanilla super mutant armor, suitable for female CBBE characters.
include:
Arm, leg, torso and head armor converted from super mutant to female CBBE body.
A rag dress and more made using the mesh from the Super Mutant armor
A costume built to (almost) match the Super Mutants' armor style.
37 items in total, some of which have ZAP sliders. (I didn't like any version of the back on the Armor 2 torso, so I made it hitable rather than getting rid of it.)
Includes Erikson's Yaogua Hat and Deathclaw Skull, which require the Far Harbor DLC for proper textures.
Get:
Use the Chemistry Station to build every part - no components or other junk, just build what you want. If you still need to use the console to get everything, use the SMG_type help "SMG_" 4 in the console to list all the parts, then you should be able to player.additem the parts you want to get.
Chemistry Station Menu There are 3 menu items to build (all starting with Super Mutant gear)
Armor - These are the costumes, and the items here will occupy multiple armors and slots under armor, as well as (possibly) the body.
Armor Items - These are armor, items in this menu will only take up one body slot.
Scrap - These are items I built from rags, wire, and various metal plates that super mutants wear.
Prolix:
My original intention was to cut out the arms, legs, and torso armor to make these individual pieces available, so I tried to replicate the costumes used by the super mutants, which quickly became cumbersome. I did both. Armor fragments - from playtesting I did - will fit most types of other armor. These costumes are designed to give you almost the same outfit as the super mutants you'll encounter (with a few compromises). The Rag or Shard menu contains items that will cover the gaps left by the armor (not sure how this will blend with other armor).
Helmet armor is limited to bladed and caged helmets. Erickson's hat is included, and the Suicide Headchain fits them as well as possible. The hat looks best when used with vanilla hair or short hair from other mods. The suicidal man's head, well...it's there, nice bald spot.
compatibility:
This mod should not conflict with other mods. I used the original Super Mutant .nif file and kept links to the original textures. Any mod that changes the textures of Super Mutants will also (depending on load order) change this mod. I didn't change any world spaces or hierarchical lists.
Documentation includes:
A mesh file, a body slide file, a material file and two texture files. I did make a slider group so you should be able to batch build this without disturbing previous builds of other mods. All files were built to fit the CBBE skeleton and then a zeroed slider CBBE reference was built in Bodyslide. Extreme body shapes definitely break the grid.
The included material and texture files are my attempt at creating the "red paint" worn by some of the suicide men. The overlay didn't look very good so I scrapped it and making a new body and head texture seemed pointless and futile as there were just too many combinations of 1k, 2k etc. I chose to make a .nif of the triangles and then a basic red texture and cubemap to make it a unique feature.
Credit:
Super Mutant Gear uses assets included in the Fallout 4 game release, no part of this mod is original or owned by me. (Maybe I could make a claim for the Suicide Red mesh, textures, and cubemaps, but they're at least a little silly, so I'll leave that at that.)

The uploaded ESL-enabled ESP will not occupy the precious 255 limit.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
